These General Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to: the SousChef® website(s) (souschef.app and subdomains), SousChef® web environments, the SousChef® mobile application, and the use of SousChef® accounts. SousChef B.V. ("SousChef"), registered at Europalaan 100, 3526 KS Utrecht, the Netherlands, offers this service. By using the website(s), web environments, apps or account functionality, you agree to these Terms.
SousChef may modify these Terms. The modified Terms are valid from the moment they are published on this page. We recommend checking these Terms regularly.
You have the right to use SousChef®'s websites, web environments and apps for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless expressly stated otherwise. It is prohibited to: disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the services; infringe on the rights of SousChef or third parties; use unauthorised software, bots, spiders or other means to gain access or collect data; or make commercial use of the websites, web environments or apps without written permission from SousChef.
If you create a SousChef® account: you provide correct, current and complete information; your login credentials are strictly personal and non-transferable; you are responsible for all activities carried out via your account; you inform us immediately in the event of (suspected) unauthorised use of your account; SousChef may block or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these Terms.
SousChef may temporarily restrict or terminate access to the website(s), web environments, apps or (parts of) the service, and/or block an account when: these Terms are breached; there is (suspected) misuse, fraud, unauthorised access or security risks; this is necessary to protect SousChef, users or third parties; this is required under law or regulation or a binding order from a competent authority. Where reasonably possible, SousChef will inform the user. These measures are without prejudice to SousChef's other rights and remedies.
All rights relating to trademarks, content, texts, images and software on the websites, web environments and apps belong to SousChef or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use them beyond what is permitted by law or expressly permitted by SousChef.
Our websites and apps may contain links to third-party websites or services. This does not mean that SousChef endorses these websites or is responsible for them. SousChef is not liable for the content or use of such third-party websites or services.
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement. This privacy statement describes which personal data we process, why we do so, on which legal basis, for how long we retain it and with which third parties we work. For the use of cookies and similar techniques on the website and web environments, please refer to the Cookie Statement.
Despite our care, information on our websites, web environments and apps may be incomplete or not current. SousChef does not guarantee that the service is continuously, error-free or uninterruptedly available. SousChef excludes all liability for direct or indirect damage related to the use of websites, web environments, apps or information thereon, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms and all disputes arising from them are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Midden-Nederland.
